I think the art piece is very unique. It takes the usual My Little Pony look in a different way. The highlights and low lights on the body are done quite very well. The shapes are nice and even. I love the fact that its modest and friendly unlike a lot of My Little Pony art like this. This impresses me very much. The stomach definitely shows that she carries a larger conception to come. The expression of her face is very nice. It's very cute and friendly to look at. The colors are very nice and not to bright or dark. I say you did VERY good on this. i give you all 5 stars in each category very well done!
im not an expert, but im not sure thats how it should look like.. her leg seems to be coming from no where and her belly looks like it randomly balloons right before her back :/ try drawing a skeleton of this and maybe i'll understand her positioning a bit better?
Thanks for the critique, I guess. It was a bit difficult to draw this position, and I knew someone would question about it. It is weird looking from the view, but it's not that off. I made the spine curves up arc, and the leg under the other leg. Just happen to make her right hip a little too high. And since the commissioner ask for the character to bare four kids, I tried to make it possible. The belly sticks out from the side. It's not really the whole belly. I knew it'll be too much.
Now that I look at it, the right leg seems off, but when I was layering, it was arched to tangle with other leg. I was trying to have her snuggle up in bed, all rolled up. Eh, I'll do better next time.
